Frequently asked questions
How do I set a 15 minute timer?
This page is already set to 15 minutes. Press Start (or the space bar) and the timer counts down in your browser. When it reaches zero, an alarm sounds and the tab title shows "Time's up!".
How many seconds are in 15 minutes?
15 minutes equal 900 seconds.
Will the timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. The timer is based on the clock time when it will end, so it stays accurate in a background tab. Keep your device awake and the volume up so you can hear the alarm.
Can I change the alarm sound?
Yes. Choose Beep, Bell, Digital alarm or Chime under the timer and press Test sound to hear it. Your choice is remembered on this device.
